Electra Partners is pleased to announce the promotion of Alex Cooper-Evans to Partner and Ian Wood to Investment Director. 

Alex Cooper-Evans began his career in the buyout industry in 1993 and joined Electra Partners in 2006 as an Investment Partner. Alex has been involved in Electra Partners’ investments in Lil-lets, Premier Asset Management, Daler-Rowney, Peverel and AXIO, and he also sits on the firm’s Investment Committee. Alex helped to raise the Electra Partners Club 2007 investment fund and has been responsible for the firm’s investor relations activities since 2013.

Ian Wood joined Electra Partners as an Investment Manager in 2012 having previously worked at GCP Capital and Silverfleet Capital. Ian has worked on a number of Electra Partners’ investments including Allen & Heath, South Lakeland Parks, Ogier Fiduciary Services and Calrec.

These promotions follow the recent appointments of Bill Priestley as Partner, Owen Wilson as Investment Director, and Nicola Gray as Investment Manager.

31 March 2014, Electra Partners announced another strong period of investments and realisations following a record year in 2013, investing or committing £250 million and realising £152 million on behalf of its major client Electra Private Equity PLC.

As of 31 March 2014, Electra Partners had gross assets under management of over £1.5 billion.
